True Manufacturing’s story began in 1945 when Robert (Bob) J. Trulaske returned from WW II. One night while out at a bar, Bob had the idea of using electric-powered refrigeration for commercial use. With the help of some family members, the first ever commercial refrigeration units were born. Today, that same innovation and passion is carried out by Bob’s son, Steve Trulaske, the current CEO of True Manufacturing. True uses quality components to ensure a long life of refrigeration with minimal energy consumption. TGN’s are 2/1 Gastronorm compatible upright products, featuring the latest in energy efficient refrigeration technology and unique features like our “E” shaped interior slide system, designed to accommodate both a wire shelf and GN pans, allowing full use of the cabinet net capacity.
Built from the ground up with the latest in energy efficient components and technologies, this product is ideal for operators who demand the most of their kitchen equipment while still being conscious of energy and the environment.
TGN’s feature a unique ‘E-shaped’ internal slide system which accommodates a wire shelf and a 2/1 or pair of 1/1 GN pans to make full use of the cabinet interior space (3 sets supplied per door section).
TGN products feature an all stainless-steel front with a sleek, heavy-duty metal handle. Field-reversible door hinging allows for easy changing between left-opening and right-opening door options, as required.
R290 refrigerant is an environmentally friendly gas with superior thermodynamic properties, resulting in quicker temperature recovery, fewer breakdowns and, when harnessed by the latest components, significantly lower energy consumption.
TGN’s are ‘Climate Class 5’ certified for efficient operation, even in demanding 40°C kitchen environments which require regular door openings. True products are built to perform in real kitchens.
Our patented RCU motor periodically reverses the rotation direction of the condensing fan, helping to remove excess debris from the interior and surface of the condensing coil. This optimises the unit’s performance and increases energy efficiency.
Through extensive development and testing, our products maintain consistent, accurate and safe storage temperatures, even in the most demanding foodservice environments.
