True Manufacturing’s story began in 1945 when Robert (Bob) J. Trulaske returned from WW II. One night while out at a bar, Bob had the idea of using electric-powered refrigeration for commercial use. With the help of some family members, the first ever commercial refrigeration units were born. Today, that same innovation and passion is carried out by Bob’s son, Steve Trulaske, the current CEO of True Manufacturing. True uses quality components to ensure a long life of refrigeration with minimal energy consumption. State of the art components such as energy efficient compressors and electrically commutated motors are used to exceed energy standards. True’s TCR/F range of 1/1 GN counter products have been designed to set a new standard for functionality, performance and elegance in the professional kitchen. Available in 2 or 3 sections, refrigerator and freezer, these 1/1 Gastronorm counters tick all boxes for the modern kitchen, including front-breathing/zero clearance, European industry standard dimensions, and featuring True’s state of the art temperature control technology.

Our TCR/F is a high-capacity chilled or freezer cabinet option with a comparably small footprint. Its “E-shaped” dual tray slide system accommodates a wire shelf and a 1/1 GN pan (2 sets supplied per door section)

TCR/F products feature an all stainless-steel front with sleek, heavy-duty metal handles. Field-reversible door hinging allows for easy changing between left-opening and right-opening door options, as required.
TCR/F products are 100% front-breathing, with zero operating clearance to the unit sides and back required, allowing for built-in installation. It can be specified with a ‘biscuit top’ for installation under a fabricated counter (cabinet height = 840mm).
All True products are foamed in-place, using a high-density polyurethane insulation that has zero ozone depletion potential and zero global warming potential.
